About Us
Gateway to Glacier is a coalition of individuals, organizations and businesses working together to ensure Montana’s Bad Rock Canyon Highway Safety Improvement Project includes wildlife accommodations so motorists and wildlife can safely coexist on the border of world-famous Glacier National Park.
Our Mission
We are committed to improving motorist safety, non-motorized travel and wildlife connectivity along the US-2 highway between the Tea Kettle Bridge at Columbia Falls and the South Fork Bridge at Hungry Horse, on the southwestern corner of Glacier National Park.
What We Do
The Gateway to Glacier collaborative works together to improve motorist safety, non-motorized travel and wildlife connectivity along the US-2 highway between the Teakettle Bridge at Columbia Falls and the South Fork Bridge at Hungry Horse, on the southwestern corner of Glacier National Park.
We work with the Montana Department of Transportation, Native American tribes, politicians, agency biologists, professional road ecologists, local residents, cyclists, hunters, anglers and anyone with an interest in making our roadways safer for people and wildlife.
